If you don’t have a Railcard and you are blind or partially sighted and travelling with a companion, or if you use a wheelchair, you can get a discount on Anytime tickets.
Some workplaces offer rail season ticket loans so if you are in work it could be worth checking with your employer.
Taking your bike on trains
Different rail services and rail operators have different policies on taking bikes on trains so it is worth checking before you travel. On some services cycle spaces can be reserved, but others may have a ‘first come, first served’ policy.
