Cycle and Scooter parking for schools 

To support our Active Travel strategy and to encourage children to cycle or scoot to school, we have been installing secure, sheltered, cycle and scoot parking facilities in schools across Cardiff. In the past 4 years we have installed brand new cycle shelters, cycle parking racks, and scooter parking racks at nearly 80 schools and we plan to install these facilities in all the schools in Cardiff that need them. Some examples of recent projects are shown in the pictures below. The scheme is aimed at schools that don’t have any facilities, need to update old facilities, or need to add to their existing provision due to high demand.
